Hey thanks for the tips! Currently we live with my mom's brother and his two dogs so we can't switch to all natural stuff, but she sure would love to! What food do you eat? I eat Natural Balance Fish & Sweet Potato
She works for a web design company in the QA department. She checks websites to make sure they work before the public sees it. I love where she works because I get to go too!!!!
Pet rules for owner:
I get the bed, must play fetch with me all the time.
I actually found him listed in the newspaper when I was living in Alabama. He was replacing a previous Pekingese I had lost 3 years earlier. I don't know why the owners wanted to get rid of him (maybe too hyper), but when I met him I though he was the biggest peke I'd ever seen but he was so happy. I was going to change his name but when I brought him home and he showed his true colors, Spunky was VERY appropriate.
Well, when you get a chance to read my profile, you'll see that now my diet is just pure love (hence, "angel pal"), BUT during my 19 years in physical, mom home cooked for me. She knows A LOT about that stuff. In the meantime, does your food say "human grade" anywhere on the bag??? If it doesn't, there is most likely something in it that is aggravating to you ("by-products, meal, sugars") and therefore, impeding your immune system, which may then result in the skin allergy. Mom's not a vet, she's just sharing what she learned with me.
For what it's worth, I used to have skin allergies too until my mom changed a couple of things and then they ALL went away.
She started using only all-natural cleaners on the floor and rug, stopped using all dryer sheets and fabric softener and washed everything in natural laundry soap from Trader Joe's. She also made sure I only ate organic, human grade food. Boy, was I glad to finally stop itching!!! Hope that's helpful. Want an angel pal??
